Overall very clean. When cassette is playing, only one of the meters bouncing to music, other meter flat. These item will definitely need service, they all do.
Head will engage drops when play is pressed. The wood cabinets is also very clean with only minor scratches and dings.
So theres an issue with recording. When you select one of the switched monitor tape switch as an example sometimes get a pop from output and perhaps some static but then it goes away. I hear what i'm pretty sure is stereo sound.
This deck does power and both meter lights work. When I tried to record, either did something wrong is record function not working. Cassette will fast forward and rewind smoothly also.
Only the most minor scratches and scuffs. Some switches are sensitive to static and crackle pop let's try this again. Function button lights all work.
This is why I point out all the known issues, so that you know what you're getting. I hear sound out of both channels when cassette is playing, from the outputs in back and with headphones.
All I got was crackles and pops. And I know that the person buys this will understand not be deterred.
All buttons and switches are original included. Cassette will play smoothly. I am selling in as-is condition.
Cosmetically this unit is a 9 out of 10.
