I heard a low buzz few tubed failed and passed. The main system did turn on and was able to test 4 different tubes I had laying around.
Because, I did not ground the wire and power cord is due for a replacement tested to on it powered but light turn.
This will need calibration from a service technician. The Hickok 123a is a true mutual conductance tester and holy grail of cardmatic. With scuffs, scratches, dings or marks and some surface corrosion. I have somewhere near 500 cards also the calibration set of coming.
No manual but copies are available. The system seemed to function.
