Power comes on and when I hit start all four slots spin like the dickens. Why you would want to, though, is a harder question to answer. If you want to duplicate tapes fast, there is no way better. So it appears to work, but I don't really have any blank tapes test on.

Other than that it is still in fairly good shape on the outside as well, case only has a couple scuffs. I mean, cassettes.
