I was not having any problems but when found this group of caps decided it time. The materials are current production.

Because the manufacturer is Nippon I am assuming they are made in japan. I will re-list more if you ask me to do so. The operating voltage on original cap was 40 CDC with a surge of 50.

These are unused capacitors. I took kilovolt ac readings on the dc bus bar and also speaker output terminals with inputs shorted volume Controls at zero. They are a bit shorter than original which does not present any problem at all. After almost 40 years I decided it was time.

I have a pair of MC2100 amps that never had the filters replaced. If you are not a technician it is best to have an electronic replace them for. In my personal point of view, I would much rather have these Nippon caps amps than a 40 year old new stock cap.

These items are being sold on an as is basis without any warranty whatsoever. I have had my two sets of these new caps in MC2100 amps for almost a year and they are performing flawlessly as expected. Just use the o rings to perfectly terminal in holes of chassis then tighten mounting fasteners very firmly and you are good go.

I do not sell junk. Quite a lot of headroom along with the extra capacitance. The originals have a plastic barrier but new ones do not.

After installation of these new caps there was a substantial improvement over all the readings I had taken with original. The operating voltage of Nippon unit is 67 CDC. Naturally observe the polarity.

These caps are the same exact diameter. After 40 years and definite improvement in materials design they have been able to go from 39,000 uf at working CV up 56,000 a 63. Quite an improvement.
