Details:

The circuit board shows signs of overheating and discoloration under a couple resistors. The silver round item that is pointed out in one of pictures gets really hot. See photos.

This wonderful amplifier - speaker is cosmetically in excellent vintage condition. It powers up but no sound at all comes from the speakers. Inside and out. Everything else looks remarkably good.

It is not working at the moment. I opened it up hoping to find a small fixable problem but that was not the case.
