Multi- voltage unit for 240v 50 60hz operation. Shipping: package size is about 20x14x10. A remote is available, and some are on RC-r707.

Cosmetics: this unit has some issues. For recording, having the hxpro is a nice feature. Its all about scratches, including one over the meter. Its not terrible, but shows up in a well lit room.

Its mostly a belt driven mechanical type, so low maintenance. I've serviced 3 of them now. The top bearing retainer always needs service to ensure it stays locked. Very nice digital tape counter display and function button liters.

Service: these mechanisms don't need a lot, but they do have few areas that specific addressing. It has the cassette stabilizer and massive flywheels, especially as compared with other deck of this type vintage. Naturally, I cleaned and de-mags the tape path as usual. Box code: oth14 priority at 13 lbs.

It also features quick reverse by detecting the leader tape. After replacing the belt I had to lube head slider - a bit dried up. Otherwise I didn't find it irritating.

I'm not asking much, since this one is cosmetically pure, but it still looks pretty good. No head tweaking was needed, and the electronic alignment already very good. Overall there are nicks and dings in various places. After all this, I put it through the paces for 1.
