The AG9015 Philips Tube Valve OTL (Directly Heated Triode) Amplifier is a vintage audio enthusiast's dream come true. This exquisite piece of audiophile equipment is a fully serviced version of the iconic AG9015 tube, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
The AG9015 amplifier is a mono block design, meaning each channel is powered by its own amplifier unit. This configuration delivers unparalleled sound quality, with each channel having its own dedicated power supply and output transformer. The use of a single-ended triode (SET) amplifier, such as the AG9015, provides a warm, rich, and detailed sound that many modern solid-state amplifiers struggle to replicate.
The AG9015 tube is a direct-heated triode, which means it does not require a separate heater filament. This design results in a purer sound, as the heat generated by the audio signal does not interfere with the amplification process. The tube is housed in a sturdy, heavy-duty chassis, which not only provides excellent heat dissipation but also adds to the amplifier's classic aesthetic appeal.
The AG9015 Philips Tube Valve OTL Amplifier comes fully serviced, which means each tube has been thoroughly inspected, tested, and replaced if necessary. This ensures that the amplifier is in top working condition and provides the best possible sound quality. The service includes new capacitors, resistors, and other necessary components, as well as a thorough cleaning and alignment of the amplifier.
In terms of connections, the AG9015 amplifier features a pair of high-quality speaker binding posts, allowing for easy and secure connection to your speakers. It also includes a pair of RCA input jacks for easy connection to your source components, such as a turntable, CD player, or preamplifier.
The AG9015 Philips Tube Valve OTL Amplifier is not just an audio component; it's a piece of audio history. With its vintage design, warm and rich sound, and meticulous servicing, this amplifier is a must-have for any serious audiophile. Whether you're a vintage music aficionado or simply appreciate the unique sound characteristics of tube amplifiers, the AG9015 is sure to capture your heart and ears.
