It plays great. I have used this over the years and it perfumes well. All lights function.

All switches and nobs function and forward and reverse do what they were made to do however, the reason that I haven't is because it works just fine. It may need a cleaning if you are so inclined. It is a few years old, so if you were expecting an absolutely perfect unit, then maybe you should look at other options. If you are looking for a solid, well cared for cassette deck that may or may not last another 30 years.
