Uses a knob/cam mechanism and manual eject by lifting door at notch above volume. Acquired from the sole owners' estate, it was used until mid-2000s attesting to build quality. The original Emerson sold its name licensing rights to Major Electronics Corp.

You won't see this model very often-if ever. Works impressively well for its 60-year-old age and lower-end product class. In 1973 who changed their name and still operate as Emerson today. Made in Korea.

We rehabbed it with a new take-up idler, foam clutch, belt, all capacitors; oxidized controls, cleaned and lubricated. Records from external or internal mic though it tends to over-emphasize S's. Pinch roller in remarkably good shape and treated with Rubber Rene. Aftermarket power cord included.
