The unit powers on with rewind fast forward occasionally working, but as this is not always case it presumed drive may need servicing or belts to be changed. It is being sold as is, for parts yes, but my guess with a few adjustments can easily be brought into fully functioning condition.
Cosmetically the deck is in very good condition with minor scratches and scrapes on front a few other spots nothing major, just worth noting as shown pictures timer start lever missing knob. For sale is a Pioneer Dolby stereo cassette tape deck, model CT-F605. This deck is tested and showing an issue with the main motor drive which seems to get stuck. Shipping is 25 in the us.
When a tape is inserted and rewind or fast forward are engaged the motor moves for moment then comes to stop.
