Maybe its designed not to play but only record. I think its just that do not know how to use it. But I do not know how to get this unit actually play.

Vintage Sansui D-770R auto reverse cassette deck this unit powers out, all the functions work. Fast-forward rewind etc. All of the lights appear to work except for meter on right above dial. This unit will need a little bit of cleaning but clean up to be really nice piece.
