When I press play nothing happens. Comes from a good home.

It powers on but I cannot get the tape deck to work. Cosmetically it is in clean condition, see photos. Everything sold is shipped promptly and with care. 001205t r1.

The fast forward and rewind button seem to be working. It could be a user error or an easy fix, I do not have knowledge on these units so am selling completely as is for parts.
