Its not really noticeable unless theres a 'dead spot' in the music then it shows up your speakers. But I never bothered with that, as only ran one set of speakers from this rec. So I just used the a terminals. Black terminal is broken.
Every time i'd turn it on, if I wanted to listen FM, have 'save' all my stations again i've had this for about a year and half, what sold me on it, was the pre out main in jacks back, that provide an easy means run output from receiver, into graphic equalizer, then of equalizer back 'main in. The bottom setting all way clockwise, is aux Pict. This unit is 60 watts per channel, w hook-ups for 2 tape decks, 1 turntable, aux CD player. And the am FM tuner with 14 total presets.
Mitsubishi built some quality, well-regarded, audio gear back in the day, when all of best stuff came from japan. There is a 3-AA battery pack on the back, that supposed to preserve your radio-station presets, if it Hans't been turned for awhile, but doesn't seem work and I know had good batteries in.
I've included those white 'horse shoes' to bridge jacks together, if you don't have an equalizer. There are 3 minor flaws: pix 5 and 8 show how the 'lettering' around one of knobs is flaking away, but its still mostly readable.
