I played a record, but there is very loud hum constantly. The arm mechanics aren't working as they should. I don't know enough about this kind of stuff to fix. Apparently in the late 1950s this was Decca's high end home system. I can sort of hear the music behind hum, but hum is loud. This piece is sold as.

See picture. Maybe new tubes. There is a large chip out of the mahogany on right side. At least that is what i've read.

There is one loose spring, that I don't know where goes. The 4 speeds on turntable work fine.
