It was cleaned and aligned. Look at the pictures.

I am interested in vintage audio equipment. See more pics below one of the best tube amplifiers of all times. The face plate has a small imperfection in the left top corner.

What happened is the old switch shorted and let the current in. The 7591 tubes are all sylvan from that era test very strong. All capacitors and resistors were checked and replaced as needed. I can also do trades.

All of a sudden they came to life. All tested strong with no shorts and gas leakage.

What if I forgot to unplug them. I left Fisher 500c and 202b once on the bench with plugs in the wall. There is a mall dent.

All tubes match numbers on the chassis. Cosmetically, this unit is very clean. It is in excellent operating condition all lights are working all of the switches have been cleaned and lubricated. I was shocked.

I had to replace the old unreliable switch with an inline cord on off switch, you can see it on the pictures. The lettering inside of the chassis is also clear and legible and no rust at all. The rectified bridge replaced.

Aside from that it is flawless with crisp and clear lettering and brass end caps on all knobs. Why I say unreliable, well it happened to me several times over my career.
