It still works fine but kinda slow. This one is perfect example how cassette desk suppose to be done. Its not affecting playback nor recording speed. I e had this one since it was new.
There is only one imperfection with this. Soon after CD won. Cd come and gone but analog formats slowly taking market back. It has super gx head that is original to this desk and in perfect shape.
Rewind speed is slower than it has been. No worn out to magnetic coils soft head. See for yourself. Most of its life it spent in the closet.
