The s77 was top of line in late 70s and still holds its own today. Really great amps, I encourage you to google the specs and compare. The specs on this still compare favorably to be stamps of today and yesterday.

I have listened to this through the preamps and phono stages as well power only can be separated into pre-amp. I replaced all four meter lamps. Everything sounds fantastic and the meters are working as they should.

For sale is a great working example of the flagship ja-SC line. I will disclose that initially, was having trouble with the left channel dropping out but problem went away after cleaning contacts. I bought my first s77 back in '78 and have owned at least 4 since then. I am a huge fan of this particular line amplifiers.

I treated all of the contacts with de-exit, and also tightened volume knob which had become loose at potentiate.
