During that process, the wires to power button light became disconnected. Below is a link to the pictures I took during my pot cleaning adventure.

I will not say this is perfect but in my opinion it working as should.

I took this apart and cleaned the volume controls with contact cleaner. There are no issues with the protection circuit this amp. Also a couple of the screw heads in housing and volume control module were somewhat stripped.
