The same power that is in venerable sq38fd integrated amp. Transformers run nice and cool always a good sign hot often indicate problem. So even wonderful amps must go. In fact it doesn't drop a measly 1db until 15hz and 60khz.

I can guide you to a good deal on one if need. All original tubes. Replacing coupling caps is important because if they go leaky that can cause an tube to 'full on' and even hurt a audio output transformer.

The are very robust and I haven't seen one fail yet in any of my 6 amps that use them or on offer listings. Made by neck for Luxman.

If you dont get sound on one channel make sure to check fiddle the rca input leads as old 'spreaders' don't mate perfectly with modern cables. Cage has some scratches, mostly on one side, but is in great shape. The frequency response is flat.

Why am I selling if it sounds so good. Have three of them. I've bypassed that switch, so you can use the with or without tube cage. They are 50ca10.

I use these now in all amps as they sound great and have a military reliability tradition. I've been collecting amps for years now and its finally time to part with majority of my collection. The power showing max output shows an un distorted 28w per channel into 8 ohms compared to spec of 30w, which is due my tiny Mauriac I use on work bench could a larger one but like current limiting and small fuse value little for safety reasons. The output tubes, if you don't know, are quite rare.

You can get a Mauriac for this about price is the same, just give me and extra day or so to Reba's. The MQ60 will reach full power with about She weighs about 36lbs packed.

Or if you want a set of new tubes extra, let me know and I will cut deal because bought them bulk. Bench tested for power supply, and audio amplification, bias set. Plugged into a larger Mauriac or transformer of 500va 500w rating and she gives well over spec output. Power supply caps were over spec to begin with and show no signs of age so they left alone modern I measured have worse ESR etc point change unless a cap has gone bad.

In fact its good to have a Mauriac for all tube gear and run 5v under, unless you are having session where need full power. Top panel lettering, denoting tube types, is mostly gone not something you notice like front or rear lettering but thought I should point it out. As you can see in the pic output at 20 Hz, 1khz and 20khz is pretty much identical. How does she sound. Signature Luxman warmth but still with detail and slam.

35 RMS input, so many devices will actually drive the just fine without need for a preamps I run it with output of my PC sound card ADC.
