Playback and ff worked fine, rewind did after a little coaxing, but it still stuck bit. If it is supposed to have a plastic piece over the spindles, that missing. Tested playback, rewind and fast forward, did not test the recording function.

Includes the original box, Styrofoam holder and instruction sheet. Bid is for a vintage model TC144 cassette tape recorder player from Webcor. There is no ac adapter included, but it works with five c batteries. The cassette player is in very good physical condition, showing few signs of wear.

Battery compartment is clean, strap has some spots of paper stuck to it.
