Based on transport condition of parts this seems to be a very low hours deck that previous owner did maintain carefully. Top cover was painted matte black and looks new. Pinch roller is in great condition so was fully cleaned and reconditioned. The VU-meter and the counter are both VFD, very bright pretty.

Very unique deck - cannot find another sold here in US, maybe because this model was not outside Japan. It has been fully restored service: new belt, fresh plastic-safe grease, Exit pots, cleaned in/out, speed was adjusted. It is a great addition to any vintage electronics collection as super rare and perfect for those who love listen their old cassette tapes. This deck is a simple 2-head with good specs: it can do 20Hz-20kHz on metal photo.

Reel motor is strong and uses gears found to be in perfect shape so no worries about idler tires. It runs at 100V I recommend a step down transformer like those found on but the plug fits in US.
