It uses a standard ac cord which can be found easily. Sound is great. It is in good overall physical condition but there are some marks and dings to the body as can be expected from a piece of 1980tech. There are also some marks with permanent felt near the radio tuner indicator which highlight local stations.

It also does not come with the ac power cord. The unit can also run on batteries. For sale is a vintage Akai PJ-35 four band stereo cassette receiver with speakers. It does make noise when buttons are pressed but the drive not turn, possibly a belt issue.

There is also a power connection for dc input. Unit is being sold as the cassette drive does not appear to work. The unit powers on and finds FM stations with no issues.
