This unit and the other 2 Marantz units I have for sale at moment all came from same local radio station. Good luck and happy buying. I tested the unit as much could without any sort of receiver or other controlling unit, which admittedly isn't a lot. Once items come into my hands, they are well cared for in a smoke free home.

They're all pretty clean, but they've seen their fair share of use as well Marantz is a high quality brand, even if they end up being scrapped for parts, the internal bits these are going to be components. Both decks seem to function well, it plays, rewinds/fast forwards, but I can't say for sure if records or how sounds. It definitely turns on, and all the mechanical functions seem OK, but really that's about as far I could get. Up for bids is a Marantz PMD510 double cassette deck in decent condition.
