It was everything I read about and more. I have been playing it ever since. The 4 VI meter lights were replaced with led.

Elan Islamic ii capacitors have a 100 hour break in period I run the unit for about 20 hours testing so that means every time you listen to this up it will keep sounding better if notice difference sound each turn on is why. So I really did not mind paying your slightly higher price on.

The unit is in excellent cosmetic condition all display lights and VI meters work as should, face plate also cover top sides are there some small marks on pictures show most of them. All the best. With the recap this sounds absolutely incredible.

Not only was it tube like in sound but put out loads of power is by far one the best sounding amps I ever heard. Looked near mint and smelled like it was straight out of the factory in 1977. The 4 preamps and two channel boards have all new transistors, film caps diodes installed, resistors were checked replaced if needed, thermal pads installed on transistors needing them, old glue has been removed cleaned off, controls with exit work excellent, bias set to original factory MTV settings.

I have not turned the volume much beyond 8 o clock position.
