The tape deck runs strong, power turns on buttons are solid with no issues, however sound gets to speakers at least my stereo I may have hooked it up wrong or receiver amplifier set ?. It will need to be repaired for the sound issue, that said is a nice deal on vintage cassette deck made in japan. I have a Panasonic RS-608 vintage cassette deck, the unit is nice it does some surface scuffs on top of wood grain.
