Please examine the photos and judge condition of this Sherwood for yourself. I cannot guarantee this to work 100 as it should since is nearly 60 years old. It would be impossible for this or any other electronic item almost 60 years of age to work like the day was made unless properly serviced by a qualified technician.
I have never seen another stereo by Sherwood that employs the 7591 output tubes. I realize that everyone has an opinion and my may differ from yours.
I brought this up slowly on a Mauriac and recorded tube video of working. It looks to be in extremely nice cosmetic condition me. I am selling this as a non working parts unit due to age and the fact that anything could malfunction at anytime on equipment of extreme. Serial k13711.
I have yet to see another one in much nicer cosmetic condition. I am sure that own the only Sherwood S-5500 with a k13711 serial number. Buyer pays shipping cost.
This comes with the metal cover as can be seen in photos and it is missing one screw that holds onto amps chassis.
