This was restored not serviced or repaired as you see on some posts. Restored Pioneer sa total capacitors replaced. Those serviced or repaired amps are prone to failure soon since 30 year capacitors at the end of their useful life.

Display meters which often fail. This unit is once again ready to run 30 more trouble free years. These amps are a great bargain but difficult to work on. 6kg year: it bigger brother puts out 70 watts per channel and comes with l.

Entire unit was blown out with compressed air and cleaned extensively inside cotton swabs outside. 4 power transistors were removed, cleaned, re torqued, and silicone compound re-applied. No access to the bottom means entire board must be removed.
