New capacitors are now firmly clamped to the bottom panel with an aluminum band and 3 attachment clamps. Lower voltage outputs 100wpc, while the higher transformer voltage outputs 200 PC.

New diameter non marring rubber feet. Then it's wet sanded down to almost a smooth surface. The 2200 has more defined bass, but Midas highs are harder sounding.

The 205 actually sounds more like the early mark iii and iv 100 watt amps. Lastly, I do another light sanding to remove high spots feet in total.

Sonic wise, I place the 205 above later 02 series amps and far ahead of the p10. 3db 1w, 10hz 20khz, 0db, 3db headroom It's not so much chichis better, but which fits into your system and provides the sound you prefer. No flaws on the front face.

025 the big issue with the A205 appears to be the power caps. 16 gauge mil spec silver plated wire replaces wiring from PPS. The previous owner had used some type of abrasive cleaner on it. Shipping is ups ground.

Overall condition of amplifier is excellent. Amplifier had been carefully rack mounted. It's a diamond in the rough.
