Elan Islamic ii capacitors have a 100 hour break in period I have run the unit for about 20 hours for testing so that means that every time you listen to this up to that 100 hour period it will keep sounding better so if you notice a difference in sound each time you turn it on that is why. Not only was it tube like in sound but put out loads of power it is by far one of the best sounding amps I ever heard. With the recap and the new output transistors this sounds absolutely incredible. It was everything I read about it and more.

I have not turned the volume much beyond the 8 o clock position. I have been playing it ever since.

And I am sure better than it originally sounded when it was new. The unit is in good cosmetic condition all the display lights work as should a new led was installed for face plate illumination and banana plug binding posts were added for channel a speaker connection, the face plate is in good condition it does have some small marks on it but not to noticeable the top and sides are in good condition there are some light surface scratches and marks on the cover the pictures show them well.
