The cassette deck was tested and mostly working. Overall a very nice sounding and looking deck. I'm not sure if its just that the music section had more emphasis on left side when pictures were taken or what view pic 1 and Heads may need demagnetization though I didn't notice any audio anomalies when playing.
The wood veneer is in good condition overall with some scratches marks, dings indents on top near back edge, and corner wear. The feet are intact. The very cool VI meters work though right meter seems to be a little behind left side. The deck is in very good overall condition cosmetically.
My guess is a good cleaning would get whatever gunk probably in there out and have them mechanically operating properly again. The one feature that does not work for certain is record. A couple of the small buttons in face plate if depressed will not pop back out easily.
This Sansui SC-5300 audiophile 2 head cassette deck is in good used condition. I had to play with them for a bit get spring back out. All of the lights work including VI meters, power button, play Re ff rec light, etc. Sansui SC-5300 audiophile cassette deck 2 head great cosmetics mostly works.
The silver face plate has minor scratches marks. The deck will not respond to pressing record button at all.
It would probably be a good idea to clean the switches and controls with exit also, though I didn't notice any scratchiness or distortion when adjusting them.
