The SE5-CE2 AKG SE5 CE1 microphones are a set of high-quality, professional-grade dynamic microphones designed for live performances and studio recordings. The SE5 CE1 is a versatile microphone that delivers a powerful and dynamic sound with a broad frequency response, making it ideal for vocals, drums, and guitar amplifiers. The SE5-CE2, on the other hand, offers an even more balanced sound with improved sensitivity and a lower noise floor, making it perfect for delicate instruments and quieter vocal performances.
Both microphones feature a rugged build with a durable metal grille and a shock-mounted capsule to reduce handling noise. They also come with a switchable low-cut filter and a switchable attenuator, allowing you to tailor the sound to your specific needs.
To further protect your microphones, you can use the included mufflers. These foam covers fit snugly over the microphone grille to prevent wind noise and plosives, ensuring clean and clear recordings.
For those looking to use vintage Altec mic transformers with their AKG microphones, the SE5-CE1 includes a compatible transformer. This allows you to take advantage of the classic sound of Altec transformers while still enjoying the modern performance of the AKG microphones.
Overall, the SE5-CE2 AKG SE5 CE1 microphones, along with their included accessories, provide a comprehensive solution for any musician or studio looking for high-quality, versatile microphones with a classic sound.

Both come with Altec Lansing model 39a microphone matching transformers that switch low impedance mics to high inputs. Both mufflers are in good condition with no tears, or damages. The Akg mics are made in austria, and transformers USA. I do not know if these were part of mic sets or they in the same box so am including them package deal.
I pulled both batteries, and saw no visible signs of battery corrosion. I did look to see if both had batteries, and they do, but am going presume batteries are dead, need replaced.
