Both VI meters work, headphone out works, record function works and both the variable and fixed output work. When fast forwarding the mechanism is a little noisy. Operationally, it seems to work fine, but will probably need a new belt since playback is slow confirmed this when recording a cassette on this unit and playing it on another one.

Haven't tested the microphone input or the timer standby function. Hello Er's, up for sale is a Sony tc k4 cassette player. Unit is in good physical condition with only a little bit of wear visible on the wood casing.
