It was tested using a ta-1120a as pre-amplifier and works very well. Ashikaga cards spotted throughout the years invariably show residual noise as low 0,0017 w, Thad 0,027 at 50mw or 0,03 rated output - even better than official specifications. Sony TA-3120A power amplifier.

Each 3120 and 3120A was delivered with an individual inspection cards stamped by Mr k. Please be reassured that it is working perfectly now and I can provide a video of on request.

The two versions look identical but later a sees much improved Thad specifications, damping factor closer to that of ta-3060, slightly modified power PCB and no front safety led. Bestselling third- width power made for multi-aped speakers as seen in many late 1960s and early 1970s Japanese rigs with a 100khz or 180khz 3120A response. Sounds great.

This amplifier is about 50 years old and does have some age related marks as seen in photos. In good working order.
