I did remove the top cover and two belts that were visible seemed to be in good condition. Sony TC-K71 Cassette Stereo 3-head Dual Capstan, RM-50 remote, Operator manual: This listing is for a like new TC-k71 single cassette player/recorder. Head were cleaned and demagnetized. Included is a as new wired remote the Sony RM-50 which also tested and all functions work.

Counter meter also is working. Tested were record, play back, FF and rewind, which all worked. This was bought in Europe so it comes with a EU electric plug, but North American adaptor. GSR veers 1653 GS 9.7.5 1653 It is in original condition and too my knowledge un-tampers with.

Timer not tested. I find that Sony's 7x series in all of their catalog are usually the best products.
