Functionally this Sony walkman has not been fully tested.

With no tape in it, I am unable to engage those functions determine functionality of them. You are buying one lightly used Sony dat walkman cassette player model TCD-D100.

As for most of the other keys buttons, I was unable to test. However I did install a fresh set of AA batteries and gave it whirl. But the door does not fully open automatically.

The volume keys go up and down change settings. Device requires 2x AA batteries for use.

Light button illuminates screen with no issues. The latch open slide button does make motor sounds when engaged. Item has not been fully tested.

Battery compartment is super clean, no acid residue. Mode selector works like it should. I do not have a dat cassette around to put it through its paces.

Cosmetically this cassette player is in overall great condition for its age. No batteries are included. Maybe some strategically placed drops of lubrication will do the trick.
