Rare unit indeed. It does have light exterior physical wear and as pictured is missing the small decorative piece above Akai plaque. While this unit is in quite good physical condition it seems there may be an underlying issue or I am using wrong.
When powered on you can clearly hear the fan motor running inside and meters light up but tension switch is pushed play button pressed nothing happens. Has some dust and such in the harder to reach spots this unit is quite heavy as will likely be reflected calculated shipping costs.
