This 1947 Webster Chicago model 79 1 wire recorder foundation unit extra clean and run's smooth. The included wood mounting container may be from mfg. Measures 11in x in x 6 in this early unit has copper feed rewind reels.

This model mechanism is like the model 80 portable wire recorder. There is a power cord and cable connector to the recording play head.
