Changed all the push buttons and azimuth potentiate. Tested record and playback using pink noise 20hz to 21khz.
Now the deck is 120v not 220v. Replaced the 220v transformer with a used original Nakamichi 120v. Now the deck is again in like new, fictional and electronics, condition. Checked and adjusted all the electronics for correct playback record levels.
Checked and adjusted playback record heads. All the functions are operating as they should be, playback, record, ff, Re, pause, meter, meter memory, Dolby b, c, auto tape calibration, azimuth adjustment, manual selection. With the deck is included copy of owners manual, old capacitors, push buttons and potentiate.
There are a few light scratches on the top cover and side of face plate which I covered using black paint is missing fade button. This is a 120v model.
The deck is fully serviced and following repairs have been done: - cleaned heads, pinch rollers. I moved recently in us from Greece, where was working Greek Nakamichi service during 90's.
Externally the deck is in a good condition, concerning age. Replaced the belt. Up for offer is one Nakamichi CR-7E 3 head stereo cassette deck, late production with gear idler.
De-carbonized the cam, reel, azimuth motors. The performance of course is amazing. Cleaned all the old lubricants and lubricate mechanism using specific synthetic lubricant. The cassette mechanism run smoothly and recordings are also perfect in frequencies from 12hz to 22khz.
