I tested the tubes and all are good. I do not have the field coil speakers to test it with so is sold in as condition for display or restoration. The was completely rebuilt with caps and resistors where needed at some point in time using vintage components no modifications output is rated 20 watts 4, 8 ohms.

There was never a r4045b that I know of. I did power it up on a var yak and all the tubes lit not blow any fuses there were more than few of these amplifiers used place high quality sound was needed along with other western Northern Electric eq. The R4045A is a very early version from 40s, you see lot more r4045c amplifiers as they had much longer production run.
