Yes there are some small ones but unless you building a museum piece or collector I'm betting the face plate on your tape desk is worse than this one. Clean inside and out the pics you see are exactly how it came i've done nothing to this unit cosmetics nice with a bare minimum of scratches or blemishes. If the motor were not bad this would be a great unit.
