If the volume is near zero on tuner you get hum out of it running into. The bottom plate reads Dynaco fm-1 but this is def a fm 12ax7s are now Chinese tubes that test perfect. Maybe this is how these behave. Whatever the case sounds fantastic. Pulls down stations great.
Tuner works perfect. Turn the volume up on tuner and send a strong signal to there is no hum at all. I thought this had a hum problem and so did the rca input mod to properly ground them. All tubes are labeled Dynaco and either mallards or made in Germany except of course the 12ax7s which were prob scalped years ago.
